What if you could be the catalyst that helps someone learn how to save both energy and money in their home?  That means both a reduced environmental footprint AND more affordable housing.

Interested?  Come learn more about how you can help local community residents, coworkers, neighbors, and others tackle energy efficiency at home.  At the same time, you’ll help Monroe County in its efforts to win the $5 million Georgetown University Energy Prize.

FREE Home Energy Assessments Offered September through November

Starting September 22, the Monroe County Energy Challenge will host a teanccc logom of 10 Americorps National Civilian Community Corps volunteers, and that means LOTS of free home energy assessments.


Anyone in Monroe County can sign up for as assessment by our trained volunteers – that includes rental properties.
